One thing Style does very well is interpret it part by part. I would let her finish her entire description first and then interpret the whole thing at once, which is more tiring. Maybe that is not as effective for rapport-building. I will try it in stages, or “milestones” as it were, next time I use it.
It seems opinions on the use of the Cube vary. Of late it has come to be seen more as a rapport tool after you have isolated her from her group. By then you will already had demonstrated value. (I am assuming an initial group situation of course).
If you meet her in a different type of situation when she is on her own, you can use it earlier as a value demonstration. I suppose.
I know the routine very well, so I think my presentation is not messed up at all. Just the linking part (SS-wise).
the important thing is that it’s demonstration of higher value – she will be impressed no matter what (unless your presentation is completely messed up) – unconsciuosly!

I have used The Cube many times. My main problem was that I was not linking my “interpretation” of it, nor any positive feelings generated in her by it, to me. It stayed neutral. You have to link these things to you.
